The Reason Behind This Website

     The history and culture of the Philippines are influenced by indigenous history of Manobo culture. While certain traditions are viewed as treasures that must be preserved, others must be addressed bigtime. We want to become change agents who support and promote the rights of individual Manobo people by emphasizing the value of education over marriage and marriage alone at young age as an issue.  Marriage is an important aspect of life, especially for women and consent is a very important factor. This platform may be a useful tool for encouraging others to adopt a fresh perspective and feel compassion for a community different from their own.
